The Shocker...

So, things have taking a surprising turn around here!!! First of all, you could plan your work schedule around my menstrual cycle!! Therefore, when it did not show I immediately thought the most rational thought...I am going through early menopause! After everything the doctors had told me, this could be what was going on. Brian made a joke about maybe you are pregnant... I was like yeah right. I was out an about that day and decided to buy a test, just so I could prove I wasn't. Well, you can only imagine the look on my face when it was positive! I was shaking and almost hyperventilating. I couldnt't believe it and I didn't. I was for sure that there was something in my body excreting HCG, that was not a baby. Dr. Rowe our wonderful doctor, came in on a Sunday to do an ultrasound. We saw a gestational sac, but I still wasn't convinced. We came back a week later and we saw a heartbeat!!! This is crazy!! It's a miracle. I had been praying every night previously for a miracle. Not for me, but just for anyone. I wanted to hear a good miracle story to help boost my faith! I had prayed and prayed for this! I never thought it would happen to me and my family!! We just recently had another doctors appt and I am currently 6 weeks 5 days. The baby also had a heartbeat of 109. I just still can't believe this is happening and want to record my journey. It is going to be a long road, but it will be totally worth it. I just pray this pregnancy continues and we have another beautiful, healthy baby!
